I understand why a lot of ppl try to fleece tradies and avoid paying them now.
Been seeing stories of ppl hiring tradies to do work on their homes then avoid paying them.
It's some sort of revenge for bullying. Tradies in general have more of that look like those asshole types during high school years.

Most tradies are trying to fleece there customers because they don’t have the knowledge on what’s wrong or the cost of the service. Can’t imagine agreeing to a price and not paying it but for example, I had a bought a house with a brand new ac unit, the drip pan was the old one so the pan overfilled and flooded in the attic. Had multiple quotes, one saying it was a 7000 dollar job. Finally found an honest tech who charged me 1500. Didn’t have to replace everything the 7000 quote said, just the plenum, pan, and added a switch.

A retard can learn most basic fixes around the house in a few minutes online, or just using common sense. Unless it's a highly skilled or difficult task, any man hiring a tradie deserves to get scammed

This is why I have a network that includes tradies I trust. It's crazy the amount that will rip you off if they think you're a sucker.
It's also incredible the amount of people who don't realize you can have cheap, fast and quality, but you only get to pick two.
