I will never get over my one boxing match
It was a pathetic performance … I actually just cringed from embarrassment thinking about it … I don’t know how to articulate it but maybe phantom pains? … like a deep cringing feeling in the pit of my stomach
I drank and vaped up until the fight, didn’t take training seriously and got ko’d in under 1 minute.
I hyped up the fight on the misc and to go out like that was pathetic
I keep opening LinkedIn and I always see Thomas with his full head of hair and those three letters C F A staring at me, always reminding me of that one fateful evening in the boxing ring
Dear diary

Have you ever considered that your mental health may not be good enough to be sitting by yourself in a lake cabin for 6 months?

He was just hungry. It was a tough matchup to get placed in. A culmination of hunger leading to minor decisions, made everyday, for months, maybe even years.
Theoretically speaking, if you desired to, you could possibly do the same to him in a rematch. Victories and wins usually lead to complacency.

This is good for you in the long run. Wiping the floor with him would have been terrible for your worldview and life’s lessons.
You’re a better man for that loss, whether you admit it or not. You’ve learned, reflected, and grown as a result

Apart of me feels I need to take it up again and get into an amateur match for oldcels to avenge myself … dying with a 0-1 record just doesn’t sit right with me
I think there is actually a boxing organization for oldcels

How tall are you?
I could fly up to Canada for a few months to train with you in the snow
Would be like that time Rocky went to the USSR to fight Ivan Drago
We can bench press logs and shit

On the other hand, you manned up, took on a physical challenge, put yourself out there in a very public way and ultimately owned your loss instead of trying to hide it. That takes more courage than most people have brah (ded fkin srs).
Your fight thread also become the longest and most viewed misc thread since Covid if I recall correctly. Those ThomasCFA memes & alts delivered the lulz too.
Nothing to be ashamed of at the end of the day.

At least you did it bro.
That shit in respectable.
According to the Bhagavad Gita, one of the lessons Krishna would teach Arjuna is that we should not be attached to the outcome. Win or lose is irrelevant. You upheld your duty (dharma). You gave yourself the experience even though your central nervous would prefer you not to.
I think you should continue to do that, again regardless of the intended outcome.
Cold approach a woman not to get her number but to cold approach a woman.
Say no to a cop.
Explore your experience with relentless and extreme curiosity and most importantly fear not.

I have it on good authority that Thomas CFA has a micropenis. Remember. It could always be worse.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
