Many years ago some guy borrowed his buddies lifted Ford truck and hit a car killing the occupants. He did prison time for it , amd wasn’t impaired or anything.
It always made me wonder about my 84 being jacked up amd getting in an accident, as the bumpers don’t exactly line up amd you may go threw the windshield

It's not illegal but it's pretty much the perfect excuse for insurance to deny an accident claim, esp considering it being lifted is 100% the reason the accident occurred.

I'm not an expert at the subject but I can imagine she will be getting shit on by the involved insurance companies. She didn't ding up a low end kia, she pretty much totaled a Lamborghini and is 100 percent fault, and it's due to the modifications that were likely made to her truck without her insurance company knowing. They likely believe her truck was a stock vehicle and they will try to use it against her.

That Lambo is not getting fixed man it’s totalled

I drove a z32 300zx twin turbo for a while when I was a kid. People in SUVs would try to merge/lane change on top of me all the time. You basically had to drive with 360 degree awareness at all times and make sure to lay on the horn when needed

Not to mention what other hidden problems are there , like the frame and suspension etc . To me it’s a 100% a write off , but you know insurance companies

Trucks have gotten outrageous. Lifted trucks. Trucks with trailers that don't even fit in parking spots and stick way out. Huge monster tires on trucks.
