I have the MAC tools version. Supposed to be different and the batteries have and a few other differences. I've had it since about 2014 and I use it a lot and it still works great.

I know that's why I called it the MAC tools version. Yeah, I paid extra for the tool truck and the dealer swears it has some difference. All I can see is mine has more soft rubber, like around the batteries while the straight DeWalt is hard plastic most places. I seen that one from my local dealer for $456 for the kit I was tempted but Lowe’s had this package for $269

Only used it on my lower shock bolts so far but it ripped them right off where as my compact 1/2 wouldn’t even budge

Apparently the Mac has a different clam shell that protects it from oil and grease. Same internals though

dewalt for carpentry tools only crew. actually they make good angle grinders too, the corded ones

at the old shop i worked at when a new angle grinder came in we collected the guards and threw them in the scrap bin right away. ur so limited with a gaurd on. i only try to use them when im using a zip cut cut off wheel

on the road we needed to use them though bc of fucken women safety inspectors

Guards just get in the way dead srs

I have a few 5" and a 9" corded angle grinder with no guard, much better. Also take the guards off my bench grinders.

Nice. I worked in the shop of a research lab while in college and all we used was Dewalt.

Most of my stuff is Ryobi now. My stuff doesn't get used hard and I can't cuss it for the cost/value. The cordless impact wrench is so much nicer for rotating tires.

Yah so much easier than dragging air around especially working underneath a vehicle. Always got wrapped up in the hose lol
