How many of you are incels?

And why are you an incel?

I’m not an incel in the sense that I haven’t had sex or a gf. I had my first gf and lost my virginity late in life. Mindset wise I’m still pretty incel.

It’s because I never learned to or desired to assimilate with popular culture. I developed crippling social anxiety around most people because I lacked shared interests. Even counter-culture groups were unfit for me. Goths, emos, anime kids, etc. I couldn’t fit in with them. I also sucked at sports but I did excel academically but couldn’t get along with the nerdy kids either. I gradually retreated from my peers and found social comfort in online forums like misc.

I had a small friend group. They were composed of misfits who had nerdy interests but also talked about depraved weird shit. Kinda like miscers.

Not sure I fit the true definition of incel either but I would say I've struggled with relationships in general because I'm introverted and don't put myself out there.

Example: I only went to prom in high school because a girl asked me to go, otherwise I wasn't going to make any attempt to go.


Not claiming to be a Chad but if I put myself out there as often as the average dude I would probably get above average results. Chasing women just feels so demeaning with how the game is played and feels so unappealing to me. There are things I regret for sure though.

Your problem, like many incels, is that you have a colossal ego which is a defense mechanism for deeper insecurities. I can read it through the damn screen.

It's not that you're introverted, (possibly you are, that's immaterial) it's that you are terrified to put yourself at a level equal to others to include socializing with them.

You will continue to have regrets until you stop allowing fear to hold you back.

Haven’t gotten laid since my hair transplant.

I don’t even talk to a single girl atm.

I’m not sure if this makes me an incel but im not even sure I could get laid looking like I do right now with my transplant not grown in.

Doesn’t matter tho because I have no interest in women at this point in my life. Just focused on my hair transplant growing in. When it does I’ll be back in the game and I can’t wait.

It’s just not worth it to me. I don’t want to deceive anyone and you typically have to take the hat off during sex.

I’m actually really enjoying my time away from the dating scene and having no social life. I could easily do this for a year until my transplant grows in.
