You shouldn’t want a big house, an apartment is all you need

It’s actually a bad thing to have a big house
It’s just the CIA mind control working on you
It’s better to have an apartment and have like. 7-eleven outside rather than being like in a suburb far away from everything
Oh Wow!

If I could find a condo with a reasonable HOA and had a guarantee that my neighbors wouldn’t be noisy, I would absolutely live in something smaller

Far easier to build equity in a large home, plus it's a breeze to live in when you can afford a cleaning woman a few times a week to take care of it

I don't shop at any poverty shops like that

I buy jarred, canned and packed shit I need like rice from the supermarket, fresh produce from a grocer and meat and eggs from a butcher or fishmonger.

My house is 1700 sq feet and it’s enough for a family of 4, easy. I really don’t get the purpose of having a 4000 sq foot home with like 6 beds 5 baths unless you have 5 plus kids or some chit. Cleaning a house that big would be a total bitch

Crew. 1900 sqft and it’s totally adequate for 3 people.

I've been a renter my entire adult life and still can't afford to buy a home at 29, but I've always been open to just buying a condo instead. They're cheaper, lower maintenance and potentially more secure than a single family home. Obvious downside is the lack of yard space for a dog or land to grow your own food, work on DIY projects, etc. but it all depends on your lifestyle.

Yeah, I grew up in a 1400 sq ft house and it was more than enough for 2 people (or 3 during times my dad had a live-in gf).

1400 sq is perfectly fine for even a family of 4. People might not want to admit it, but part of the reason housing is so expensive now is that all new houses are at least like 2500 sqft minimum (not the entire reason, but part of it)

People used to raise families of 8 in tenement flats in NYC. I’m not saying that’s viable these days because honestly that’s pretty ridiculous, but it seems a lot of people today won’t even entertain the thought of a 3 bed 1 bath house. People want big McMansions for families of 3 or 4.

I have literally given up on ever owning a house, but you're still not gonna have me agreeing that living next to a 7/11 where i can get screamed at by psychotic drug addicts is better than having some land with some free range chickens and a nice cottage with all the basics.

The housing market is terrible. People want too much for their houses. There's also a major shortage of good home builders because they're all aging and retiring.

Its better we have more home owners than renters though I'll tell you that. After a house is paid off, they tend to generate better quality people because people have more free time to persue their interests. With the cost of housing now, your talking well into 60's before their house is paid off lol.

I live in a normal sized house right now and miss my condo at times. It was so easy to take care of a smaller place. Plus only 1 floor for everything you need.

My last house was about 1800 sq ft I think. A ranch with a full basement on half an acre. I loved it, it was the perfect size house and yard.

Jersey shore homes are my dream home. Beautiful and quiet. You ever gone down to the jersey shore legz? At least recently.

Was at manasquan, pt pleasant, and belmar this weekend and if i had the money id buy a beach house and live the rest of my life there.

But what if you have kids and need a yard for them to play in and room to run around?

Oh wait.
