CWB Chicago has learned that shortly after 8 a.m., at least one man robbed the Family Dollar store at 3239 West Lawrence Avenue in Albany Park, with initial reports indicating that an offender displayed a gun, attacked a woman at an ATM, and fled with proceeds from the store.
Investigators have recovered an extra firearm after a robbery suspect undergoing a medical evaluation shot two Chicago police officers who were standing guard over him at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Lincoln Square on Saturday morning, CPD Supt. Larry Snelling said.

During a late afternoon press conference, Snelling said a 38-year-old male officer with 10 years on the police force was killed and a 57-year-old, 21-year veteran was fighting for his life after the gunman somehow secured a firearm and shot them inside the hospital

This is true. While this shit needs to never happen, if it must, i wish it would DIRECTLY affect the people responsible for soft on crime policies, like the mayor himself.
