The New England Patriots reportedly already have a replacement in mind for Mike Vrabel.Vrabel, who is entering Year 2 of his tenure with the Patriots, remains in the middle of a scandal.
Vrabel, the former Titans head coach, has been photographed multiple times in intimate moments with former NFL insider Dianna Russini, who has since resigned from her position at The Athletic.
A Patriots insider told Daily Mail reporters Russ Weakland and Ben Nagle that the franchise will eye Mike Tomlin to replace Mike Vrabel, if something ends up happening with the latter head coach.
Patriots ownership reportedly does not want to fire Vrabel, though as the controversy grows, it's possible something could happen.

tomlin isnt go to move, steelers have big money and can match the pats. why even bother as that franchise might fire you quick and the steelers wont havent.

^I thought the steelers had already ditched Tomlin. I liked Vrabel as a coach, but Tomlin would be cool.
I corrected my original post.
Mike Tomlin was not fired; he stepped down as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers in January 2026 after 19 seasons, following a decision to leave the role. He was not fired, but rather chose to resign following a lack of recent playoff success, opting to leave to potentially seek a new challenge
EDIT: they should try to grab Indiana's college coach. Im sure theyve tried.

ah yes, they're going to replace their... coach that just took a 23 year old QB to a superbowl, with a coach that is complete shit and has lost for a decade straight in the first round of the playoffs

Kraft actually committed a crime. Law enforcement couldn't do anything about it because they obtained the footage illegally, but the NFL certainly could have. Vrabel had a consensual sexual relationship (affair) with a woman which is completely legal. He's a POS for sure but this has no bearing on his job.
