I've spent a decent amount of time in Virginia visiting family. I like it.

New York State is more aesthetic from a nature perspective but VA is pretty cool.

That's cool, it's funny how something appeals to people differently. If that type of geography catches your eye, then you should go down to the Smokies in north carolina which are a little taller, and as the name suggests, the pine trees have a gray hint to them

I like Virginia well enough. It's nice. The people are nicer than further up north.

Yeah it’s like 200 miles inland

I was there back in November so it obviously wasn’t muggy

No idea if it’s different in the summer

Wasn’t crowded at all … just a bunch of small towns surrounded rolling mountains and farms … just incredible

Downtown Ocean Springs is pretty cool too. I live in Hattiesburg. Unfortunately it's a busy place because everything within a 50 mile radius is even more boring so people come here to do "stuff." My son wants to work and live in Utah. We are driving out there next week to the SLC airport. He's in aviation maintenance. If he moves out there, we may not be too far behind him. Multiple wives sounds ok to me.

I drove across Michigan, a bit of Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and halfway across Kansas and that entire trip just looks the same … have never been so bored in my life

Cornfields and then some creepy desolate town every 50-100 miles … not to be rude or anything but the people working in the gas stations along that trip looked sort of inbred .. like the types you’d find in a Texas chainsaw massacre movie .. it was like a horror movie driving across those states srs

Even Kansas city was weird …no one was outside, it was a bit surreal

The first part of that drive is boring as fuck, but the second half is pretty awesome. Salt lake is interesting place, might be a little too small for me but it's definitely gorgeous. Enjoy your trip!

Yeah, we're going through St. Louis to see the Arch and then Nebraska, which I have never been (probably will look like Kansas) and then all five national parks in Utah. I love the west. He and I went to all four national parks in Colorado last month. Tent camped in Great Sand Dunes and RMNP. I will have been to 41 states and 23 national parks after this trip. Looking forward to it!

The correct order is whichever state Oliver Heldens is in at any given moment = #1. The list then continues based on proximity to Oliver Heldens

The order changes often due to him frequently crossing multiple state lines on his daily bike rides

That is the exact path the ice age glaciers carved right through and flattened everything out. Check out west Virginia if you end up in that area, it has a lot of low key beautiful places. Google harpers ferry for an idea
