What were you doing the day the MISK died?

Some of us have fond memories of 9/11. Some of us have fond memories of George Floyd. COVID is another timeframe that shaped our lives but what exactly were you doing the day the MISK died?


I was viciously trying to log in. Panic set in when it redirected me to that fateful screen saying there was a new way coming. That way didn't come in the way we expected. Now we are here.

I had actually quit the misc and was almost a year in of not posting.

I don't know exactly what I was doing. Probably at my cubicle.

I can't believe I'm posting on a misc replica at the moment. It's like a sick joke, I can't escape the misc.

I was working for a huge defense contractor. I was engaging in significant conflict with this institution as they were violating employee rights like they were being paid to do it (they absolutely were being paid to do exactly that).

It was a pretty big event in my life.

Right around the time the misc died, I am confident the company tried to have the DoD conduct a security investigation into me. I was operating on an active secret security clearance with access to classified information. The misc went down for about two weeks, right until after the climax of this conflict with the company had passed. I have convinced myself, at that time, the DOD was investigating me because the contracting company threw spaghetti at the wall and said I as a security risk hoping one or more of my posts would prove that.

The misc came back up for a few days then went away forever.

The timing of these events is a coincidence. Of course.
