I’ve known several people with Asperger’s syndrome

They take everything literally. If I was to say someone was a few cans short of a six pack, they would think I was talking about beer, and not the sanity of the person I was speaking of. Basically any slang term they take literally.

I used to be like that, people would use hill billy slang local to this part of the province and I would take it literally.
