Is there any good way to not get ticks?
No matter what I do I keep getting ticks in me I’m gonna be so mad if I get a red meat allergy

They're not usually too bad where I live so I don't usually do anything to prevent them.
Deet and clothing treated with permethrin are the two things I hear mentioned.

I do actually have a buddy that is a surveyor and between his job and hunting, fishing, and trapping he pretty much lives outdoors and he had lyme disease. Messed him up pretty good.

I saw where you put tape on the outside of your pants either sticky side out or use double sided tape, the ticks crawl up hit the sticky part and are done. A couple of years ago we my daughter and my dog got into seed ticks, those little bastards covered them by the 100's in a matter of seconds. After the incident someone told me the best way to clean them up is to wrap tape over your hand and then pat your body where they're at.

I'm out west. We have a lot less, and I think a lower percentage of the disease carrying varieties. They're around and the worst in the spring; but from what I hear nothing like out east.

Ticks can only survive in local environments of 95% humidity. Knock down any tall weeds/grass that hold moisture.
