What do you estimate is the conversion between regular DL and using this trap bar thing

90-95%. Flex on a good day could probably pull 585 on a conventional deadlift.

My lifts on the trap bar are very similar to using a barbell.

Notice I use the low handles to Range of Motion is the same. Lots of trap bars only have high handles so it's a reduced ROM lift.

Only started deadlifting 18 months ago so I only use the hex bar (I’m fine if this is bitch mode bc I’m terrified of snap city)…also only use the low handles.

Not a 1 rep max guy but I can get 360 for sets of 8-8-6-6.

Deadlift is the only exercise that leaves me gasping for breath and light headed, it’s pretty wild
