Anyone dealt with acid reflux or GERD?

My appetite is gone, I’ve lost 15 pounds in the last month. Last time I ate pizza my heartburn was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack lol. I’m scheduled to get an endoscopy

Yeah, recovery is slow but works if you follow the treatment -intermittent fasting at least 18 hours a day with no food, no alcohol and no trigger foods like pizza and citrus juices. It'll take a while depending on the severity but that will significantly treat your gerd. Remember that even after it gets better, it can always come back If you slip back into your old habits

Eating an apple with meals that I know cause heartburn has helped. So has taking these two probiotics every day:

Yep, had it bad until I cut way back on alcohol and then it settled, but you'll have trigger foods. Pizza is one for me as well, and it's the tomato sauce that causes it. Turned out I had a hiatal hernia as well and therefore I have to be careful about how I eat.

Find out your trigger foods and avoid them, that's a good first step.
