FOR WASTING MY TIME
Please input your email and sign in before you can access this website
Did you set up a Microsoft account? You need a Microsoft account to access this site.
Did you install OneDrive? You can't access this file without installing OneDrive. Also you need a Microsoft account to use OneDrive.
Oh you're logging into your University's website? Yeah you're gonna need Office365.
Do you want to bring all your data into Edge. Did you know edge is the best browser ever?
Did you want to search for files on your computer? Yeah that search tool now sends you to a Bing search instead. Because you wanted to search Bing for "Tax Files 2023".
FUCK MICROSOFT
dear diary

Unfortunately Microsoft is far too big to fail at this point. However, they're also probably the worst run company I've ever dealt with.

Yeah, most anything on the internet wants you to be a subhuman thing on their virtual planation these days. You dont get to use any website or computer at all without them also nagging you to sign up for something or downloading something or doing something that data mines. They dont care how harassing or dishonorable it is and will just start in with their gaslighting if you call them out on any of that.

Edge is Chromium based these days, and it was a smart decision. Chromium did a good job making a browser engine that is customisable. (brave for max privacy, though)
I also use Word a lot and like what good software it is. ive tried the free ones and they are ok, but not like Word.
As far as Google goes, I like Google maps a lot. I set the privacy on my iphone as much as I can, but make an exception for maps because it is so useful.

I use MS at work anyways so at home I don't have much use for office software just very simple things
