The Legendary Misc is no more after bodybuilding forums shuts down
The decision was apparently made because of several reasons, such as declining engagement (despite the fact it was still very active) and the costs of maintaining the old software. The forum had also been under attack from spammers recently.
Sad to see it go. The misc in it's hey day really was the go to place to shit post and just have some great banter. If you searched virtually any topic in google, chances are you would find a thread about it on misc.
From Zyzz to Ya Boy Dave to Looksmaximus, the misc was full of freaks and sometimes crossed into the mainstream with likes like ER and Anders B and even the Icepick killer posting on it.
I'm gonna miss it.
