Anyone else think hollywood movies suck these days?

Back in the day from around the 80s till maybe 2010 most movies were classics nowadays there's barley any. What happened misc?

Recently watched new Max series, Welcome to Derry, about those clown movies, It, which I never saw.

Anyways, it takes place in the early 60s, in a small town in Maine, called Derry...and all the characters are black...in small town in Maine...in the 60s.

There were always tons of horrible movies but the great ones were really great, and there used to be movies I’d see preview or commercials for that would really get me interested in seeing them.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw a preview for a movie that made me want to go see it. They all seem like the same slop these days

Still some good ones around. Was watching Conclave recently & great film until the last 15-20 minutes or so when they ruined it with woke crap-it may have been in the book, but they needed to tone it down.

Hollywood can't write a good original script anymore so they continue to remake movies or remake and use a different title. Also, the amount of DEI is incredible.
