You have an upper-middle class income guaranteed for life

You receive $150,000 per year for the rest of your life. It is inflation adjusted and guaranteed to never run out.

What do you do with your life? Do you work? Do you travel? Do you degenmaxx?

inb4 comments about how miscers would have to downgrade to such a poverty lifestyle but they'd make due somehow.

i need a break a big long break so i'm going off grid to heal from the stress and insane jestering that has been my life for decades srs

a nice place somewhere does not have to be luxurious but just a quiet place in nature perhaps on a hill above a forest or next to a lake just no people

i will let nature reset me srs get me down to the basics again and take it from there
I put effort in all my threads srs

If you gave me $150,000 as a one off I would quit my job, travel & somewhat degenmax right now.

I'd last over a year on less than $20,000 then think about what to do afterwards.

before tax? that is what, $11k/mo after tax?

mortgage $4,800/mo, car and insurance $1,100/mo, foot $1,000/mo, random expenses $1,500/mo

you could make it I guess but would not leave a ton for vacations or toys

still the value of not having to work would be epic

Live frugally and rent. Then put 50% down on your home. Only retards pay high mortgages. There's no reason why you shouldn't put down a massive down payment to have a small mortgage payment. You hear all the gurus say the opposite, but then you have to be stressed to always make the payment. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

I’ll eventually have this, and I’ll definitely end up degenmaxxing and probably dying a premature death.

Get my license
Get a car
Get a modest house near the shore
Get a paved driveway
Get a brick fence built around the immediate exterior
Get probably 100 acres of land

Go to charm school
Start taking martial arts
Drive to a gym everyday
Eat just expensive high quality food
Probably experiment with street drugs a little
Go on ozempic
Get more expensive blood thinning meds (than what I'm on now, the meds is giving me hair loss)
start a beginner cycle of roids (just to bring me up to acceptable levels)
Have my clothing tailor made to fit
Start a hobby farm with lots of fowl, like chickens, ducks, and geese
Plant an orchard on my land, apple trees, plum tress, peach trees, etc, should be balling in fruit by 65 years old
Hire a part time handyman to care for the land and do simple household chores (minimum wage)

Respectfully that number is outdated. Upper-middle class is closer to $250-300k per year

Not even misc e-stating on this one. Just go look at the homes available. You can maybe afford a $700k house with $150k salary. I would consider my parents upper-middle class and their house is $1.1 mil

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Luckily for me where I live good houses are like 250k or even less, you can usually get something that needs work for like 60k.

You have a Zillow link to use as an example?

Would love to see what some of you consider upper middle class at 250k for a house.

I live in NS in Canada, the atlantic provinces are the poorest area in Canada, only newly built homes go for like a million, I'll see what I can do for a link.

Maybe they're not upper middle class, to be fair I dont know anyone making 150k a year, and only 2 people making 100k, a few making 50k or so, most of the people I know are working for minimum wage or hardly better than, I guess the well to do people making real money are holed away somewhere focused on their career and working long hours, thats probably why I dont know any of them.

A 960 sq ft house with a heat pump and a space heater is upper-middle class?

Lol, well boyo, I get 979.00 a month to live on, and most of the people I know IRL aren't that far above me, lol, Nova Scotia is a poor province.
