Guy on the left is 42 and spends millions to at best look like he's 48.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Quick story . I’ve been going to this local Mexican restaurant here in town for years . The guy that runs it is from Ecuador and shuts down the restaurant every January and goes back there for a months holiday.
3 years ago when he was 83 I asked him where he stays . He says with his dad . I’m like wtf , how old is your dad? He says 103 .
I’m like how many people in there 80’s stay at their parents on vacation lol

how old you look is 90% genetic.

some people just look really young for their age no matter what they do, and some people look older than their age. that's life.

Italian guy for sure, he enjoys life

The other phag, who doesn't drink or smoke, will still possibly be at risk of cancer or something else, while boasting about "hurr durr i live the sober life look how righteous and healthy i am"... Being sober doesn't mean you'll live longer. I know so many people like that, Im not saying being an alcoholic is a good thing (like explosiveMidget, because its not a good thing), but lol @ not being a social drinker

Yep, and I've known people who have died in their 60s because of cancer or other health complications, and they have lived a "healthy" lifestyle, no alcohol/smoking/etc.. Focused so much on the healthy lifestyle that they cut off all pleasant indulgences life has to offer...

Bet that 83 enjoyed himself more than some of the health freaks who died much younger than him, that i know.

It's all about moderation, learn self control... Thats what people dont seem to understand.. You dont need to cut yourself off from the fun things in life

My buddy told me that his grand kids would bitch at their grandfather about his drinking and smoking. So grandpa told them that his whiskey and cigars were all he had to forward to , so F off lol

Is the key to longevity just low stress, quality non processed foods, good relationships and genuinely enjoying yourself?

I feel like optimizing everything like Bryan Johnson would actually be counterproductive. I’m not sure.

Is that Gordon on the right?
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

moderation is key in life.

bryan johnson and the old italian man are both at the extreme ends of the scale. one is overly restrictive, and the other indulges too much.

mortality and health conditions are largely driven by genetics, but healthy lifestyle can make negative outcomes less likely. at the same time, obsessing too much about health will make you feel stressed, deprived, and unfulfilled.
