Thought this was kind of interesting (I'm only 7 mins in) this guy works for a repo company that takes back entire fuckin airplanes.

Not cars someone didn't pay their loan on, but entire airplanes....

Their company has been getting ready for MONTHS to take back all of Spirit's planes, but twice at the last minute the repo guys were called off as Spirit had somehow kicked the can and survived another month.

But then finally, early this month, Spirit went bust at 3am, and these guys quickly went to repo ALL of spirit's airplanes and fly them empty to the boneyard, waiting for new owners.

There used to be an airplane repo show.

Like all “reality tv” it was bs.

The repo men would hide from security and make it look like it is a high risk mission when they literally just have to show the paperwork.

They moved 26 planes in 7 days.


When the repomen arrived Spirit said "we're not letting you fly under our maintenance chit" which is like Spirit saying "fuck you we ain't helping you get the planes back to the bank" So the repo guys had to have 3 official "plane inspectors" come sign off on each plane saying it "was airworthy", since Spirit wouldn't let them fly the planes (which had JUST flown passengers 12 hours prior! Aka they were 100% safe and ready to fly) via their "the plane is safe to fly" maintenance records (not sure how to word it better, but like saying the repoman can't drive your car using YOUR insurance since its being repo'd and fuck off go buy your own insurance to drive on the streets the car back to the bank)


This is a decent video so far, even if you don't care for airplanes, but repo war type shows.
