It hasn’t been an issue since 2012, when the compliance function was transferred from the Treasury to the ATO

In any case even before that it was two fifths of fuck all

I understand the playbook - blame the economic problems of the country on some specific demographic and then mobilise public sentiment against them - the numbers don’t back it up though
