Got a consultation with an orthopedic surgeon this Friday!!

So my shoulders are fucked. Dislocated both of them a number of times. The pain and limited range of motion really do decrease my standard of living significantly.

I was looking up the types of long term damage that can happen as a result of dislocations and as it turns out, there are actually a number of different procedure than can address this depending of the type of damage. Really exciting to hear.

I’m hoping they just rebuild the entire joints with titanium, carbon fiber, and blue tooth technology, but I am glad to be able to get any help in this area.

Really excited about some relief here.

I would look at rehab and PT first. Your shoulder mobility will never be the same after surgery.

I spent over a year rehabbing my left shoulder after I got my black belt - I could not lift it over my head.

I now have full mobility and strength back, only problem is my nervous system keeps pulling the shoulder back because it is used to doing it.
