I'm not an endocrinologist but sometimes the body doesn't eliminate things along a power curve. For example alcohol is processed out of the body at a linear rate.
If your body's ability to eliminate testosterone is capped at a specific rate, is it possible that a 50% marginal increase in intake could result in a 100% higher levels?
The other thing is that you might be comparing apples to oranges. Are the tests at the same time of day, same workouts, meals, sleep, hydration, etc?
