Not only do they lack situational awareness but they also lack the ability to judge character. Most of them have bad character and that's why they identify with others with bad character. "He's not a bad person he just does bad things" which is just stupid. Then the cope and excuses like "he comes from a negative situation which forced him to do bad things", along with other BS. I've noticed as I've gotten older I am better and better and picking up the indicators.

Those people taking advantage of his situation says a lot about them. This is the kind of friends you will have if you befriend these kinds of people. The saying "With friends like you who needs enemies" applies.

I've read she gave misleading information, maybe to throw off the investigation. Maybe she was in on it because he didn't stab her. Maybe she's just stupid.

I'd being 100% srs- I've met white liberals/leftists that would think it'd be racist to press charges in this situation; Something about the socioeconomic factors that would have pushed that man to being violent, how the man assumed a position of authority/privilege in trying to tell him to stop doing whatever he was doing to the car and him being the first one to initiate physical contact.

I'm not saying it's ALL left-leaning white people, but I've met a considerable amount that would think like that
