Bro, you are wrong. It comes back just like in dogs. Every now and then you will feel extra sore in the joints, lethargy etc and you won't know why...well it's the lymes. Then you should take a good 4-5 days of Doxy and it will clear up. I know pal..

bruh ive been dealing with this for awhile. i know my shit. ive seen tons of doctors and specialists for lyme disease. the pain people feel after theyve had it is from the permanent damage it did to ur joints while u had it. it fucks ur cartiledge while u have it. go get a MRI on the joints u feel pain. it will show them damaged or fucked up/lacking cartledge. if i overwork myself the pain comes back. but its nothing like when i had active infection. i couldnt even sleep i was in so much pain, why i started drinking. only way i could fall asleep for a couple hours of rest was getting drunk or buzzed

im talkin from exp. when u had lyme for over a couple years it does lots of damage to ur joints. when u rid of lyme the inflamation goes away but the perm damage remains. its called lyme arthritis. as evident as i have nearly 0 pain when i dont overwork myself. if i got 3 12 hour days in the woods i will be fucked after that. same with shovelling snow esp. only in my damaged joint though, which in my case is my right hip

but when i was in active infection. which was years, i had pain in my ribs floating ribs esp, my back and neck, my knees would randomly swell up and not be able to bend, and both my hips.

1 time i was in so much pain i finally gave in and decided to drive to the hospital ER and i was in so much pain i could hardly make it the hour to the hospital driving. sitting in my truck seat hurt so much
