It's all a bit pointless. At best it's for fitness, but given he speedran Undisputed at Cruiserweight and HW after a long amateur career a record padder is forgivable.

I'm assuming he's doing this, then either Parker or Moses at the end of the year (who else is there?) then retiring.

From a 'legacy' point of view he should have retired after the dubois win. I think he's 40 this year? All about the cash these days, which is fair enough. If he beats this guy I bet he fights again maybe x2/3 if he continues his win streak?

This fight is a joke

The biggest problem I have with it is that usyk is being allowed to defend his titles against someone with no true pro boxing experience

The belts should be vacated.if he is not going to defend them


It would be like if the lakers were allowed to play against a highschool team and call it a play off.game

True. But you can get very good odds on a Uysk KO if you pick a specific round. I'm talking about gambling which is always to be avoided, not the integrity of the sport. Lets be honest Uysk should knock him out it's just a matter of when.

i dont think it is for any belts, other than whatever belt they created just for this fight

that rico is an undefeated world champ kickboxer for over a decade. and is a big fker.. look at his youtube clips. he is fast, and can bang - and he is younger than usyk with a gas tank

this isnt a mandatory for a belt. usyk just said he wanted something different to test himself. maybe its a cash grab, maybe it isnt. but he'd be a fool to underestimate him like fury did with ngannou that went 12 rounds

all it takes is one landing when you weigh over 120kg + 6'5 manmore giant
