Instacart tried charging me $99 today

I cancelled it quickly, I had their free two week trial when I was in vacation but didn’t know they charged an arm and a leg

What’s up with this? Does anyone know more about this?

So I called the service number the night I got the email notification, and cancelled it. That was on Thursday of last week. Today I got my check and deposited $135 into my bank account and it will register after midnight tonight. So far there have been no problems with the money charge getting cancelled. I checked PayPal the other day and everything seems to be okay. For the last 5 or 6 days I’ve had less than $2 in my bank account.

I never had any cash taken out of my account during that time, and I didn’t get an overdraft charge.

This was a wake up call to me to not be such a spend thrift, and to save money as much as possible. I’m never letting my bank balance go below $100 from now on!

I was at a relative’s house for four days to watch their dog while my niece graduated with a master’s degree from San Diego. I bought a lot of healthy groceries and just didn’t pay attention when I got back home. I signed up for the Instacart trial when I was there in April, but remembered to cancel when I got back. I just forgot to do it this time.

I was vegging out watching Rich Piana videos on YouTube on their big screen television
