Back in 2000 when I was 12 yrs old one of my friends' dad kept his playboy magazines in the bathroom.

He probably wondered why I always came over, and conveniently always needed to use the bathroom.

I used to love playboy magazine . I’d read all of it. My parents had tons of them and I’d just read them all lol. Right out in the open like it was a seventeen magazine. The magazines were out like normal too- for anyone and everyone to see

Yeah, I miss those days. I got a subscription when I was 16 or 17 and beat my parents to the mailbox for a couple of years. Bought a couple at newsstands before I turned 18 and they either didn't card me or one dude at the airport sold it to me anyway. Used to rent softcore porn from a gas station from this girl who knew I was under 18 and let me rent it anyway. Another chick was on the register one day and told me I couldn't rent, but I told her the other girl rented to me all the time and she said ok. Always used to find them in bushes out in the fields (desert fields). Used to think it was cause kids stole them from their dad's or their lesbian mom's and hid them out there. But thinking back my best friends dad was a fish and game ranger and would take us camping in Death Valley to count birds or look for bighorn ram and other job related shit and we'd always find hustlers and other dirty ass torn up filthy ass porn magazines. Out in the literal middle of nowhere so I'm really not sure why it is that way but it really is that way.

Idk but it was apparently a global phenomenon. I assume it was kids who were too scared to keep it in their house so they’d use it once or twice and store it in the woods for later use?
