What are your expectations for Scary Movie 6

This one is coming out this Friday. It's getting a bit of hype because it marks a return of the Wayan brothers, who had left after Part 2. It's also the first R-rated movie in the franchise since Part 2, as well.

I'm always up for a good movie at the theaters, so if audience and critic response is good, then I'll check it out ... but I gotta say, the trailer makes this movie look awful. The use of Eminem's "Without Me" isn't good, and Keenan's Michael Jackson shtick looks unfunny.

And to be frank - the first 2 movies in the franchise are a bit overrated. I remember going to see Part 1 at the theaters in 2000. When we all left, the first comment was, "that was the worst movie I've ever seen."

the movie is suppose to be cheap laughs. it's not to be taken serious or anything.. majority of theaters now adays now sell alcohol. So go with your boyos and get yucky or go with the wife or husband(looking at you phaggots) and enjoy a simple night out. hit up bdubs or applebees for them endless apps and go to the movie after/ simple cheap date.

I’m gonna see it. I think it’s going to be pretty funny but I know it’s not going to make me laugh as hard as when I was a teenager watching these

Scary movie 3 was the best in the series. 1 and 2 were good also.

Expectations for 6 are not great. I think it will be decent, but won't capture parody on shared common culture like we had pre social-media. Now everyone lives in their own hyper individualized algorithm.
