Today marks 5 months of no alcohol boyos (SRS)

feels good to be rid of that awful habit. it's terrible for the body and such a waste of money.

last year i was drinking a 375 mL bottle of vodka/whisky every day. that was like $20 a day, which is over 7 grand a year.

i was so miserable that i was literally crying myself to sleep some nights srs.

Congrats boyo. Quitting isn't easy. Enjoy a fatter wallet, more motivation, being more healthy, smarter, less anxiety, no shame waking up to having done stupid shit, and much more.

Don't give in to temptation and "try and have a little bit"

That never works.

Write it off completely, think of how nice you will sleep for the rest of your life without that (actual) toxin.

repped.

i was crying because the drinking was ruining my life.

i was wasting all of my money. i was destroying my body. it was preventing me from losing weight.

drinking alcohol everyday just makes you into an emotional wreck. i was hungover everyday. i was anxious and depressed. i had panic attacks a lot. i felt like chit 24/7.

1. i used to drink once a week. i did that for a few years, and then it gradually became more frequent. eventually it just became something that i did everyday. i didn't really consider it an addiction, i considered it more of a bad habit. as bad as my drinking got, it was still highly controlled. i only drank 375 mL of hard liquor, i was able to wait until nighttime to drink, and i would take like one shot every 10 minutes. but doing that every single day is still really unhealthy and i had to take an extended break from it. it was preventing me from losing weight.

2. yes, i plan on drinking again someday. alcohol is one of life's great pleasures, and i strongly believe everything is fine in moderation. i believe that drinking is ok if you can keep it to once a week max. once i get down to under 200 pounds and i am happy with my weight, i will start drinking again. i plan on being sober for at least one year before i start drinking again.

I went through a phase where I tried drinking everyday, I was having 7 or 8 drinks a day, I did this for a couple weeks.

I had bloodwork done for some reason and the doctor immediately called me out and asked me if I was a drinker, I told him I was and he told me I should stop because my liver wasn't liking it, so I stopped.

i don't believe the nonsense that porn is bad for you. it is one of the few pleasurable activities which does not harm my health. it does not cause an ingestion of calories or chemicals. it is no different from watching movies or TV shows.
