Watch guys are pretty cringe tbh. Nothing wrong with buying a nice watch, but when it becomes your thing it’s basically just a fashion item (which is gay af).

Depends on collection, if they are nice quality watches a collection is great. If they are all seiko mod watches, 'super clones', or invictas, its a waste of money.
If you see somebody in an airport lounge and they dont have a nice watch on, you can tell the ticket was gifted to them, or their business paid.

Been a while since I've looked at watches, but I am a fan. I personally will vouch for Federico of Delray watch if you are in the market.

They've become obsolete and essentially just a fashion accessory now. And fashion is always gay

If you ever feel compelled to communicate a specific trait about yourself (for example wealthy), it is because you don't feel that way.
Acting on insecurities is inherently beta.
Most "alpha" male behavior is acting on personal insecurities.
There is no such thing as "alpha".
Being a consooomer is an irrational thing to do.

I have clients with 7 figure collections. I appreciate the craftsmanship and the provenance just like I do with any collectible (cars, watches, art, bespoke furniture, etc)
That being said, I bought an expensive watch because I thought it would be awesome owning one. I returned it a few days later when it stopped working.
Now I rock this bad boy straight from Japan, I do still have a Grand Seiko but have not worn it in two years.
