Yeah but at the same time he played for Atlanta which is full of blacks and equally gay. At least in NYC you can bunker in South Brooklyn, Staten Island and pockets of Queens and not be completely surrounded by liberal phaggotry.

Yeah but all of that applied to Atlanta at the time as well, except for being overrun with foreigners. You were just surrounded by blacks instead. Atlanta is also more liberal than NYC on the whole.

To be fair it's much easier to escape liberal phaggotry of a major city in Georgia than it is the state of New York. Congrats on pockets in Queens but literally all he has to do is step outside the perimeter of Atlanta and he's pretty much good elsewhere in the state, even while maintaining easy driving distance to his place of work in contrast to needing to ride the public subway cesspool of NYC filled with minorities and crime to actually get to his employer

Imagine trying to argue playing for an NYC team would have been more aligned with his beliefs.
