I've been to a lot of countries and the USA is pretty mediocre, srs
The main thing the US is good for is is making lots and lots of money as a worker bee.
However other countries have most of the amenities of the US these days. This isn't the 70's when only rich western countries have indoor plumbing.
Sure, we're at the forefront of some cool technologies like AI and space travel, but are you participating in that? Probably not unless your net worth is in the 8 figures or more.
The only 2 lifestyles I can think of where the USA is definitely a better place to live is
- For people with minimum $30M net worth
- The Amish (srs)
The rest of the stuff in the US is mediocre at best.
- Land and property is ultra expensive
- Taxes are high, and stacked in the favor of rich people
- Political culture sucks ass
- Social culture sucks ass
- The education system kinda sucks, and is expensive.
- National parks are cool but loaded with foreigners since all the Americans are busy working their tails off.

You're looking at these lesser countries as a visitor which they'll naturally roll out the red carpet for you because you're practically rich there.
You have a naive, sheltered take on the world.

Making lots and lots of money as a worker bee
lol, compete and utter delusion.
You can make lots and lots of money for someone else as a worker bee.

What still sets us apart is the geography and landscape varieties and wide open spaces.
