It always amazes me how hispanics are born here and manage to sound like they got off the boat a few years ago. I think they strive to sound like that so that they don’t get mistaken for sounding “white”. Best part is when they get upset at someone for not pronouncing a word correct in spanish, and yet they pronounce so many things incorrectly in english. Mind you these are the ones born here, not actual immigrants.
