Women seem to thrive in the office environment srs

Meetings, PowerPoints and spreadsheets. Gossiping with co-workers. Grabbing a lunch and being able to dress up. Sending a few emails a day while online shopping. Yet, there's no work that actually gets done or any results or anything built. Somehow though, they love it.

You can't tell me there aren't a ridiculous amount of worthless female jobs compared to male jobs. Like the amount of corporate business jobs they have where they'll work an hour or two a day vs millions and millions of men doing blue collar work which help society actually function. I was just thinking this earlier and thought about making a thread srs lmao.

Women seem so joyous at work. It really blows my mind. There's a group of girls in the next cubicle row over who literally giggle all day long. Someday I'll record it and post it on the misc because it's fucking unbelievable how loud, obnoxious and incessant they are. Just to give an idea, about 20 minutes into my shift today, the peaceful silence of Monday morning was interrupted by rattling keys and iced coffee swishing in a Stanley cup, followed by "HEEEEEY GIRLYSSSS!!!!" so deafening it drowned out the podcast playing in my headphones.

Then her three friends all repeated "heeeeeeeyyy" in unison. And I fucking kid you not, these sloots were fucking harmonized.

Ded fkin srs.

Work must feel like being a teenager and having a sleepover to them. They're constantly energetic, smiling, happy. Almost like robots programmed to be cheerful 24/4.

I mean, as much as it irritates me, I can't be mad at them. But it is strange. I don't understand it at all.

Am woman and hate office environment. Before Covid when it was all we knew it wasn't as bad but after Covid and being home full time for 2 years, being in the office is pure hell.

I haven't wageslaved in almost 20 years, maybe times have changed. I do have a few female friends with corporate jobs and they're hard workers but they also have decent positions

I remember in my wageslave days they would often have a hot dumb receptionist or assistant who didn't do much, but the other female workers were normal

I have a theory that many people are medicated. I absolutely do not thrive in an office. Everything you just listed is my worst nightmare. It takes me like a week to send emails because i hate my job and I hate sending emails.
I am going on meds starting tomorrow so that I can NPC my way through life.
I wish I could just switch to a job I actually enjoy and that engages my mind but meds are the easiest path to my life potentially staying stable. Anyways-

Plus I guarantee that they go home and talk shit about their work "besties" to their husbands (if not their yoga "besties" that they currently gossip about to their work besties).

I honestly don't trust them at all in the workplace, it's all an act. Deep down they hate it, they hate each other, and they probably hate you too lol
