Question in the title. I got carryout at a Thai place tonight, and ordered the same thing I always get. Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry in brown sauce and extra hot. Two cartons of rice.

I picked it up and drove home, and open the carton and I realize that they gave me Beef and Broccoli. Everything else about the order was correct, and I ended up eating it and it was still pretty good.

However, I called them and definitely got my order refunded for their fuck up. I like Chicken more, and they even offered to replace it if I drove back to the store. But I just opted for a refund.


What are you doing in this situation? Are you just happy you got a decent meal and not really caring?

I don't get it refunded. People make mistakes. It's not a big deal.

I was once at a Mexican restaurant where the waitress gave me a completely different entree and started crying when I told her that's not what I ordered. Rather than fixing it, she insisted that what I ordered, fucking fajitas, aren't on the menu in a Mexican restaurant. Which pissed me off, especially since I've been there numerous times with the same order. After I physically showed her the item on the menu and called her out for lying, she said she's terrified of getting fired and started crying. Then gave me cash because she couldn't take it off the order without getting fired. I told her to keep the money and had to pay for two entrees. Part of me was pissed, another part of me was concerned that she needed the job to pay her bills. I even gave her a $50 tip after.

That's essentially the reasons why I don't confront them. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Nah, I actually think chicken is better for Asian food. Guaranteed the beef is relatively low quality for them to make the numbers work.

I ordered it specifically for carryout. Sometimes I do eat there, but in this situation I was in the middle of a bunch of work shit that I needed to be home to work on. I was driving by this place on my way home, so I just called them. Food is usually done in about 2 minutes, so it's easy as fuck.

However, when I'm not so busy, I do often eat inside restaurants.

Im not just getting a refund, I’m suing everyone.


The driver, the company the driver works for, the manager, the cooks, I’m gonna put an insurance policy on the establishment then sue that insurance company.

A dog or two may come up missing.


Fuck with my food.
