So you can make friends with any dog who was normally aggressive, he will let you pet him. But a dog that is chill with you now will stop liking you and will try to bite you if you come close.

Ok, I don't know these genies and wizards, but seems like a bad deal. The dog I, supposedly, know would be part of the family so scew the other ones.
