Whats your relationships w your coworkers?

Man i have the best co workers.
Inspired to make this thread cuz we just went to grab pizza after OT.
Everybody i work with is a great dude at work & most of them are cool outside of work too.
Then if we go to bars theres 3bars in this section of downtown. You can see all our other coworkers who we dont directly work with. Theyre at the pubs and everybody gets to know eachother.
Its like a coworker inception. Just co workers for days bru. I got a bunch of co workers workout at my gym too.
Just fucking endles coworkers

I would suggest developing personal relationships with coworkers is willingly entering a comprising situation.

One time I was out with my coworker at the lobby bar in our office building

He took his shirt off and started yelling at people calling them phaggots mid day dt Toronto

And then ordered a bag and did it on an electric box outside

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. They're ok

I don't do a lot with them outside of work

Every now and then

I act like they're my friends when I'm dating because women will bounce if they realize you have no friends

3 other guys work with me at the shop. All kinda go our own way. we have grilled at the house before with some beers but i wouldn't really call them friends. w

When i worked in restaurants i was one of the few line cooks that actually spoke English fluently and for the most part i was in the same age ranges as the FOH staff. so i hung out more with FOH staff( servers, bartenders) than BOH(cooks, dishwasher, prep cooks)

Honestly I don’t really talk to them. I just go to work, do my job, then go home. I don’t make my coworkers and bosses friends. Srs

Abysmal.

I have practically no rapport with my coworkers. I sit at my desk, plug my headphones in and desperately try to drown out the noise (very difficult).

Most of my coworkers are obnoxious women. They gossip, giggle, shriek and complain ALL DAY LONG. As I type this, I’m listening to this sloot bitch about her son’s behavioral problems at school and her husband’s car troubles while clicking a pen 100 times over.

The rest of the office is made up of effeminate men and boomers who got completely captured by corporate indoctrination decades ago. There are zero authentic personalities. I can’t relate to a single fucking soul here (srs).

To give you an idea, I am only one of three men on a floor of 22 people. One of the other guys is a foreigner I can barely understand. The other is a failed real estate agent who had to go back to wage slaving.

What’s strange is that this is the first company I’ve worked for with such a weird dynamic. My last job was even more buttoned up (fairly prestigious company), but my immediate colleagues were all cool as fuck. Four of us (3 guys, 1 girl) sat in this secluded room on the 8th floor of a downtown high rise office. The rest of the company was spread across higher floors, so we designed our room the “no HR zone.” We would talk shit, blast music, play videos, crack jokes. It was awesome. We’d also go out to lunch together and I made genuine friendships with two of the guys. Met their families and everything.

Before that, I worked at a high pressure sales call center around degenerates. Most of them snorted coke on the clock and had a plethora of problems in their personal lives, but we got along great. It was like being in 13th grade chilling with your friends all day and getting paid for it.

The older I get, the worse work feels socially.

I remember one time with my coworker

We stood in the same spot for legit 12 hours and did lines

It was like an island counter top at some condo party and we stood there from 9am till 4am ripping lines

Miss those times srs

You should give them a chance.
I dont think you got to know these current people cuz you had such good experiences in the past. Do the inititative.
Maybe yall got up on the wrong foot. If you compare to those previous joints you think back you probably had like a negative interaction with this current environment and then kept getting closed yourself.
Could try to break out from that. I doubt theyre truly such NPC robotz.

I dont work anymore, working is for cucks, once I get in housing my net worth will be more than if I had a shit job at mcdonalds or walmart, and now that I qualify for the DTC I can actually retire at 60 and buy a cheap house because of the savings account exclusively for recipients of the DTC.

I've only ever had one job where my co-workers sucked.

Started out all good and then half of them seemed to become toxic, liars and bipolar. It was weird af

another job was too good - banging co-workers. that's a fine line there

IDK how people do that for 40 years in corporate with adult daycare for cackling women

There's hardly any women in my office

Most of the guys are vets or ex.tradies. completely not HR friendly so I don't have to worry about that shit. And it's not too crazy on the opposite end, not like tradies showing up hung over ect

My career was chit . I worked with not one but two guys that were nepotism , and srs there’s nothing worse than having to put up with retards that are only there because of daddy .
One guy pushed drugs for decades . Almost every fking time we got started on a job his phone would ring and he’d have to go trafficking , all the while I always had to finish the job .
Of course the boss praised him afterwards for doing such a great job lol . Asked my boss , why tf doesn’t management do anything about these ass holes . He said do you want his biker buddies on your doorstep?
He finally overdosed one weekend and was 20 minutes from death . I would have given 2 fks if he did dieded srs . Hard to feel bad for your coworker when he abuses drugs for years on end lol , just go away already
