Are airport parking enforcement people kunts everywhere

Absolutely heated right now … picked up my mom at arrivals and was idle waiting for maybe 1 minute for her to cross the street to get to the car

This fucking bastard tells me I need to go … I say no thanks and roll up my window

Then he takes out his gay fucking pad of paper and writes me a ticket

I get out of the car and rip it up and throw it at him

Think I can contest it? Not sure how much it is because I ripped it up into 34 pieces

😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡!!!!!!!!!

You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. Being pleasant, polite, and positive yields far better results when trying to influence people or resolve conflicts than being demanding, angry, or aggressive.

Is it even a real city ticket?

If it's just 3rd party then it doesn't mean anything

Look into if a private security has authority to write a real ticket

Sometimes they do that in the US for shopping center parking lots

But maybe the city has provisions to allow them to issue real tickets, sounds like something cucknadia would do

Apparently my gym lot is city owned and is used for payed overflow stadium parking during baseball games. I pull up and there's some phag standing in the middle of the street that leads into the lot. I go to pass by him and he steps in the way and motions to roll down my window. He asks what I'm doing and I say parking to go to the gym. He looks suspicious and says "ok, you got an hour". I laugh in his face as I roll up my window. I park and see he is walking to my truck. I step out and he changes his path from my driver door to my back tire, pulls out his chalk and marks my car then walks away.

Last week one his goons are standing in a shaded parking spot on his phone and when I go to pull in slowly he acts like I'm not about to hit him. I honk and he waves me on as if the spots not available LMAO. I get out and ask, he walks away.

These parking dorks need to get hit going 15mph.

i did that once at a dry cleaner.

was stressed and in a rush before work went to dry cleaner to pick up shirts. parked my car and got out but didn't put car in park. as i'm standing at counter i look at the Korean and his eyes got as big as saucers. i looked behind me and my car coasted right up to the shop window and luckily stopped at curb. nightmare fuel. imagine it coasting away.

a few times i've gone to the gym and accidentally left my car running. the Lexus is so smooth and quiet you can hardly tell the engine is running. i come out of gym an hour later and i'm like WTF car is running. push button start/stop doesn't help.

I used to do that job. I would have given you two more tickets for not bending the knee. And while they're not actual cops, the tickets are real.

The goons were a mix of teenagers and adult men, some even had gray hair. Went from angry to sad by the time I got to the gym door, srs.

I think if you weren't such an asshole to him, this situation would have gone differently...

Obviously these people hate their job and everybody is an asshole to them all day. But they're still people, and a little kindness and charisma goes a long way.

Tow truck drivers preying on regular parking lots and situations like that, yeah scumbags.

But with an airport, it seems reasonable to be strict. A high volume of people need to get through. If they were lax about it, that road would probably be hugely backed up and jammed.

I’ve had so many issues with these guys over the years and I’ve tried being reasonable in the past and it’s just impossible so I didn’t even bother this time

They are the most unreasonable people in the world … power tripping pieces of shit every single one of them

And this time I had enough!

They don’t have qualified immunity though.

I've never had a problem with any airport employee but I will say Air Canada and the Toronto airport suck.

The way you feel about the Toronto aiport are valid.

Of the 279 airports the company analyzed from 76 different countries, Toronto Pearson Airport landed at number 263 with an overall score of just 6.95. This year, it lost even more altitude, dropping 61 spots from its 2025 position.

It's such a terrible layout. We flew from Vancouver with a connection in Toronto to get home to the US. The flight took off from Vancouver about 40 min late and then we had to walk/run what felt like 10 miles to get to where we needed to be to get next flight. Plus we had to go through security for some strange reason. Which was super slow and the workers wouldn't bring the empty bins over to where we needed to put stuff in them which held us up even more. We were this close to missing our flight to the US from Toronto. One woman only had like 25 min from the time we landed to get to her next flight. I hope she made it.
