Do any of you Americans take Melatonin to help with sleep?

If so, how many mgs do you take? / how often?

Long story short it's not prescribed here in the UK & personally I don't have any problems sleeping, but through a set of circumstances I have possession of a tube of 10mg melatonin tablets.

Would one 10mg tablet wipe me out? Are they addictive?

Ysh I take them or muscle relaxers

I use the 15mg gummies and two of them helps me sleep

Or half a muscle relaxer

yes i have good question but it made me feel drowsy during the day so i stopped

if u don't need it don't take it srs

I stopped taking because it’s being linked to some heart shit.
I would do like 10mg but I realized 1mg basically does the same shit. I don’t think it does much anyways. I scroll til I sleep however long it takes
Also realized it made me tired the next day

Its just a hormone your body already makes, not addictive, not anything that bad.

and its NOT "the more you take the more it works".

.1mg is nearly the same as 10mg for most people. more is not better.


you probably only need 1mg to 3mg at most. so 10mg is a large dose and wasting it (I usually break a 5mg pill in half).

Take it 25 minutes before you want to fall asleep.

It works to get you to sleep. I would get these crazy nightmares and wake up with a “melatonin hangover” the next day (super groggy and tired) so I use rarely these days
