The major highlight of the article is not so much this Coplan guy, even though he belongs to an elite network of government officials, foreign entities, capitalists and academics, but rather the fucking joke that the current version of capitalism we live under truly is.


All of Silicon Valley was originally researched under DARPA; all for surveillance purposes under the conservative wing of government, mainly being Poindexter. The taxpayers funded all the R&D, and then it all got privatized, so investors like Thiel could sell it back to the government.

And remember Thiel considers himself a libertarian. He's also who pulls JD Vance's puppet strings.

All tech is publicly funded, and all the profits are privatized. Doesn't matter what monopoly. It's all the same. Taxpayers don't see an ounce of return on that investment. All of Silicon Valley wealth should be confiscated.
