What's up with this high protein craze/fad?
I go to the grocery store and it's high protein oatmeal, high protein chips, even ice cream and other foods like that.

Cyclical trends that cater to people that want to be healthy but chase buzzwords. “Keto friendly”, “high fiber”, “made from REAL food”, “low fat” are all similar buzzwords from earlier examples of the trend

The general public does not track macros at all....they see marketing of items that say "HIGH PROTEIN X" and buy it and tell people they eat a high protein diet. Next time you hear it, ask them how many grams of protein do they eat per day? The bert stare will be automatic. Srs, vry srs.

They are calling it the ozempic/reta diet.
Americans all hopping on are told they need to eat protein, that’s why all these companies are marketing protein!
Srs. It’s targeted marketing for the ozempics
