First day in 4 weeks with no World Cup games. Kinda crazy, I was on cloud nine there.

Kind of a letdown. The first week was amazing with like 3-4 games every day beginnnig at Noon and going until like 2am. Was GOAT viewing material at the gym while doing 1hr incline walks on the treadmill at 4pm every day.

Sucks that we need to wait another 4 years for this to happen again.

Yeah, it sucks. But I can revert to watching baseball.

This world cup is the first one I've been watching, and I enjoy it. I loved how the group stage had games all day and night. There's something mesmerizing about seeing matchups between countries (as opposed to matchups between USA states): seeing games between Japan, Germany, and Curcao feels more grand than games between Baltimore, Dallas, and Denver.

4 years is a long interval between World Cup. There are supposedly a lot of professional soccer leagues, but I don't where to begin to follow them

As soon as gas prices follow suit, inflation will come down significantly. At $75/brl oil, gas prices are still about 25% too high and will adjust as soon as the supply purchased at higher prices is replaced with the new oil.
