Anybody else stopping work early today? Nobody is doing any fucking work right now anyways. I should just be out at a lake somewhere.

I drank some beers last night and then lifted today. I did bench, RDL, seated OHP, and drop-set lat pulldowns. It made me nauseated.

To your point, I don't feel one way or another about it. Just neutral. Pluses and minuses

if i drink 12 beers tonight i will most likely skip lifts the next day but i must get my 13,000+ steps in. it's tough being hung and walking in 105+ degree sun and heat outside.

Oh yea. I wouldn't want to lol. But it's weird cause sometimes that coffee in the morning plus nicotine gets me going better than I thought it would. A lot of it is a mental and psychological game. Having a positive mental chamber to tap into can sometimes will it over the edge, to do something better than expected. It isn't always there, though.

I've been mostly doing incline walks this summer. It's a much easier process, and honestly seems a bit better for weight loss.

Nah, I have a bunch of people in town, so after the game and about 8-10 beers, I'm going to have dinner with family.

I have a standing 11am personal training session every Saturday. The only time I've missed that session in the past two years were the couple times I stayed up until like 8am doing cocaine. No matter what, I show up even if really hungover.

WTF you need a trainer at 40+ years old?

is it because you still don't know WTF you're doing? or because you lack the discipline and self-starter to show up and work?

I'm a busy ass guy, and it's quite easy to take time off. Not saying I'll have a trainer forever(probably not once I'm in the shape I want to be in), but for now I view it as a worthwhile expense.

If I were retired with nothing to do all day, obviously I wouldn't be paying a trainer. But there's something nice about being able to show up and outsource the thinking parts of the gym.

Works perfect for me, because I normally work 7am-3pm. I'm going to stay home and take it easy and watch the game today though. I was pretty much out all last week drinking watching the world cup. Went to the fan fest in ATL for England DR Congo, and then USA Bosnia.

I will be going to a friends place though tomorrow to watch England vs Norway, and Argentina Swiss def gonna get yucky. Might hit the bars after the games.

Yeah, I didn't realize there are two games tomorrow. Both should be really solid. Too bad I'm sure I'll be busy as fuck tomorrow.
