Zero fucks given. Reality is that, for whatever reason, these students are here, and I'd prefer they aren't relegated to the welfare state or criminal underground for the rest of their lives.

You wouldn't be wrong to say they shouldn't be here, but they are. And just like you and me, the majority of them didn't choose to be here, but here we are.

With the amount of illegals who have entered the country, and who breed like rabbits, it is only a matter of time until Texas flips blue unless they take drastic measures to change things. And it will be that way for many red states. Florida and a few others in the central US will stay red, but for many...it is just a matter of math. Trump has been great on immigration, but we all know that as soon as another Dem POTUS is elected, the flood gates will again open at the border. I really think at some point we are going to have to have some sort of civil war or a peaceful negotiated breakup of the country between conservatives and libs/socialists/commies. Just look at the rising Muslim population and Mosques being built outside of Dallas. 15 years ago that would be unthinkable. Texas? Islam? Huh????

Even an example of strong conservative people/culture who live in Newport Beach CA are not immune to this. I have been there many times and it has always been very safe. Very white and Asian. Not now. July 4th it was overrun by illegals, blacks, and degenerates from out of the county and from out of state who totally destroyed it.

Here is an example of how bad Texas is getting. A brand new $125 million library in Austin has been taken over by the homeless, and TX authorities are doing nothing . In fact they seem to encourage it. Little kids walking around druggies and degenerates and the locals seem totally fine with it.

Texas is GONE. I am sure people like Sillie and Z-clown would be very happy.

What's also fucked up is that International students get financial aid now too at elite institutions.

When I was in college, it was pretty well understood that the foreign students were attending because they were paying full boat -- tuition + room and board.

Now, they are giving practically free rides to foreigners. That's fucked up. For instance, when I went to college, there were between 2300-2500 foreign students at my school. Now, it is between 6900-7900 and many of them are getting aid awards that cover practically everything. If they're giving free rides to anyone, it should be for Americans. My college is on this list below, and this is average aid awarded PER YEAR.

I was completely unaware that foreign students received financial aid. The whole selling point(wink wink) was that these bastions of socialism brought in foreign students for the dollars.

If you take the top universities it's not unusual to have 20+% foreign born student body, which has a domino effect and puts downward pressure on all American students. 5% should be the mandatory cap.

Brother, the bulk of it occurred after WWII, but foreign students have been attending American universities (and vice versa) from the beginning. A main point of higher education has always been to consolidate and exchange knowledge from across the world.

Any American who wants to go can go... if they want to do it and prepare for it. It's a different topic, but the reality is that many American students are not capable, and it eventually leads to things like S. Korea sneaking in a bunch of people to build a battery factory in Georgia because Americans have no fuckin' idea how to build a battery factory. Even the bad orange man realizes this.
