14-year-old turned down a $30M offer for his start-up

http://www.cnbc.com/2016/05/10/this-...&doc=103623047
Taylor Rosenthal can't even legally drive but has already turned down a $30 million offer to buy his start-up RecMed, CNN Money reported on Tuesday.

The 14-year-old exhibited his start-up, a vending machine that serves first-aid kits rather than snacks, at TechCrunch Disrupt NY this week.

Fixed.
I break into old ladies' homes, steal biscuits from their tins and replace them with sewing materials for maximum grandkid confusion.

Good move. Just a startup and already being offered $30 million. You know somebody's gonna offer him way more in the near future.

this sounds like another one of those bs articles

who offered him the $30m, it doesn't even say

the company has only raised 100k so far, and is not even in production, and someone that they won't mention values it at $30m?

how often would you even need first aid in a vending machine format

lmao @ not accepting 30 million.

even people who manage vending machines at a large scale covering a city that have food in them make no where close to that.

let alone it being a first aid kit compared to food for a dollar.

A friend of mines bro created an app and sold it to a buyer for 10million, but also got a % of whatever the app made even if it wasn't his. The company who bought it also got bought out, so he basically sold his company twice. I think he made close to 20-25million off of it.

I would have sold it provided he doesn't have other investors interested. Competition with funds could wipe him out before it takes off.
