Men: How often do you cry?

I'd say every 18-24 months I break down and cry for a good 3-5 minutes and admittedly feel a lot better afterwords. It's always a result of something near life-changing (death of my mom, extreme stress, etc) and it makes me wonder how often most men cry. I assume that by crying every 2 years I'm considered a very frequent crier by male standards and I'm ok with that, but I'm curious to know how often the rest of you do it. Have any of the rest of you cried in your adult life?

If I'm alone in the car on a long ride down the highway, sometimes I'll contemplate life and think of family, which makes me tear up.

Not ashamed about it at all, I feel grateful that I have and have had things in my life that could move me by simply thinking about them.

Cried for the first time in 12 years in a therapist's office a couple months back. Was explaining to him about how I was bullied and without thinking about it I broke down. Was very weird.

Last time i cried i was 12, now i'm 20. I forgot how to cry i guess, when my grandma died (who i loved) i didn't get a single tear... And when i hurt myself i swear but never cry. Kinda sucks crying felt good sometimes

I cry when I'm going through **** and get really drunk but sober I only cry at funerals or when my pets die. Tbh just sniffled thinking about burying my current pupper

Cried when my dog died about 1-2 years ago, cried when my son was born and I saw his face for the first time.

Other than that, maybe 10+ years ago?
Family members passing away, animals passing away, not sure of any other situations that would make me cry.
But I have a pretty vanilla life, not many stresses, good job making decent money that I've been at 7+ years, good family support system etc.

It's DEFINITELY therapeutic for people that live with stressful jobs, or deal with tough family situations, I think breaking down and crying can take the edge away from bad situations, keep you from making them worse.

i used to cry so easily too. like when i was 13 or something i was just about to go to bed and then it hit me. i wouldnt get to experience what i get to experience ever again. like i wont be able to be a kid just chillin with my parents or a teenager. i was just reflecting on life ever since i started making memories (around 3) and i was thinking about how old age will eventually get to my parents. cried myself to sleep that night.

Last time I full on cried was in November when my grandpa got sick and passed away.

Now I just shed a few tears every now and then if I'm frustrated and tired with things and I start thinking about grandpa and my dad.

Dad passed away when I was 7 but I didn't know him well so I didn't cry at all back then and it's only now starting to hit me.

Edit: in high school I was a drama queen and cried for a lot of dumb chit

How do you define 'crying'? If you mean 'bawling' then that would be when I was a kid. But I get tears in my eyes every time I watch a sad movie or TV show. Example: Hachi - A Dog's Tale.
