Well, the verdict is in. Ghostbusters 2016 is legitimately a chitty chitty movie

even putting aside the feminist agenda its just a bad movie

cliffs;

-This guy desperately wanted to like the movie.
-the only funny character is Chris Hemsworth, but he has a very small role in the film.
-The CGI is atrocious.
-Its got slapstick almost "cartoony" level comedy.
-All of the men in the movie are either bad guys, really stupid (Chris H's character) or just mean to the girls because "all men are ass-holes"
-the ogre black chick just plays a very unfunny stereotypical black woman with a bunch of cliche one-liners.
-in the final battle with the giant stay puff ghost, they defeat it by shooting their beams at its dick (no joke).

and thats only about half of the problems he listed.

because they bastardized a good franchise and tainted it with a chitty reboot that didn't need to be made....The worst part is Sony and the director were bitching at internet trolls bashing the movie because of the all female cast....but they were right, the entire movie is just one big SJW woman empowerment message.

Its a phuckin' ghostbusters movie. I don't want to have a political/social agenda blatantly shoved down my throat when i'm watching a movie. hell I was going to go see it out of morbid curiosity because even if it was like Brides Maids it would have had some redeeming factors to it, but it doesn't even have that going for it.

The original movies were part of my childhood but I don't think they hold up either. They are very cheesy and the 80s humour falls flat by today's standards. I was watching them not too long ago and I was cringing at Bill Murray's jokes.

This reboot looks even worse.

Hopefully this flops at the box office. I really hope so, fellas. They've been promoting it so hard, I fear it might actually bring in decent money. If it's financially successful, I'm sure it will spark a whole flood of all female remakes and mainstream feminist-themed movies. You boys ever wanted to see Rebel Wilson star in Tommy Boy? the thing is, this remake manages to be worse than that, which was a pretty hard feat to accomplish, I mean how do you manage to make a movie in the year 2016 that is worse than its predecessor with its dates joke and 30 year old cinema movie effects?
