👻Some vegan logic that boggles my mind...
Caging animals, fencing them in, or taking them out of their natural habitat is wrong...
Do you own a cat? Do you own a dog? Wut? Do you transport it sometimes in a cage? Wut? Is it in its natural habitat? Wut? Can it not get out because its trapped in your house or backyard by a fence? Wut?
But we're feeding them and being nice to them... okay... so then my next point...
Wont eat an unfertilized free range chicken egg...
Yet many vegans have no issue with human abortion...
Many justify eating plants because they don't feel pain despite them being living organisms...
So is it okay to eat animals, insects, or aquatic life that don't feel pain? Can i drug my cows first and then kill them? If not... whats the difference?
Won't eat honey...

PLEASE EXPLAIN ... cause i seriously do not get the logic

i want to be a vegetarian, tho it's fuarking hard to get protein in. Vegans are a bit stupid IMO. brb won't eat eggs, brb wont eat honey, brb won't drink milk. We quite literally have to eat some form of meat product because we need b12, we die without it.

I lol @ vegAns who don't do stuff like eat honey for moral reasons.
For health reasons being a vegan is great, and mostly good for moral reasons but some arguments don't hold, as is the case for most things.
More power to vegans for standing up for what they believe in.
Personally I'm a vegetarian cuz I was raised that way, love milk and eggs, and being vegan is too damn expensive

1. Difference between an animal living a chit life in a cage, and a life of domestication as a human pet.
2. Wont' drink milk either, because of the conditions the animals are kept in.
3. Questions of consciousness are difficult to answer. Honestly, I don't think anyone can claim to have the answer. But everyone is entitled to take a stance on what they believe to be morally acceptable, and you could argue about it till the cows come home and honestly there isn't a single person on the misc who could win that argument for any side.
4. Eh, eat honey, don't eat honey, idgaf.
edit: i eat fukloads of meat btw

Veganism is really just another manifestation of SJW guilt, human guilt just like white guilt and male guilt. They try to rationalise it with pseudo-science but ultimately the whole diet is a SJW cult.

Not a vegan, but their issue is that animals don't consent to having their chit taken from them. That's why they don't eat honey, because (to them) honey is stolen property.
The abortion thing isn't the same as eating an egg, lol. The woman is consenting to the zygote being terminated before it develops into a proper human. A better analogy would be vegans being against women being forced to get abortions while being cooped up in a cage for another thing's consumption (assuming said culture eats aborted foetuses.. groce), which they already are against, so all's well that ends well.

veganism is great. no need to bash it. im usually vegan in the states. Sometimes i may eat meat if im in a social situation where only meat is available. I dont really like supporting huge animal industries like pet stores and industrial farms.
Also, to the guy talking about b12, it comes from bacteria which the animals are supposed to eat, but since the farming industry fuked up the soil, they have to supplement the cows.
Edit: Also, you cant bash social movements. veganism is annoying because its a social movement right now. Its like gay rights and black lives matter. People are just pushing what they believe in. Honestly, if vegans annoy you, just dont associate yourself with them. I dont think its hard to avoid vegans.

OP's logic makes boggles my mind more.
Are you seriously comparing keeping a cat/dog in your home to how chickens are kept for farming purposes?
Pretty sure my cat has better conditions than this,

Most people are not going to become a vegan until vegan food is a proper alternative to non-vegan food. It is much easier (and cheaper) to get the micro and macro nutrients you need eating eggs and meat together with vegetables etc than just eating a bunch of vegetables, seeds, nuts etc.

The more something is less like us, the more willing we are to disregard it's life or "feelings" when it comes to eating/killing/using. Vegans are short-sighted and rather unenlightened if they think that plants are not alive, sentient, factory-farmed globally, abused, shipped, held against their will, and bred to die.
Everything in the universe is made of the same "stuff" and life by it's definition consumes "stuff". As we become enlightened I can only hope that we learn to balance our need for sustenance with the harmony of our universe and our environment (which is by the way essentially "us"). Humans can not survive in a vaccum, nor without air, nor without shelter from UV, nor without warmth, nor without sustenance, nor without our billions of symbiotic bacterial flora, ...
I wonder if some people even understand the basics of life tbh... or if they really think they are an individual bag of skin who is free to transcend consumption of the matter around it and avoid interacting intimately and sometimes violently with the universe?

The meat industry has its problems, but so does every other industry that has to cater billions of people everyday. It is cruel just like nature is. In my mind, the lions eating gazelles alive is not any less harsh for the animal than the meat industry

"Free-range" is another marketing gimmick to make you think that the chickens/hens are actually treated well and live out in the open on some farmer's big field. It's BS; The only thing "free-range" means is that there is a tiny access cut out from the warehouse where a few of the chickens might get to see light of day. Free-range has no legal definition in the USA.
