Balding Brahs GTFIH For Some Real World Advice (SRS Thread Is SRS)
Ok so I figured I would make a thread for balding brahs pertaining to some real life chit. The misc is funny af sometimes, but a lot of times people tend to take things way too serious. Especially when it comes to things like money, height, face aesthetics, and especially balding.
So this is a perspective different to a lot of what you see, so hear me out. I have posted all this stuff before but I'll make an actual thread for it because I can.
My Personal Experience: Cliff Version
-OP has always had slightly receded hairline
-OP starts balding in the crown 2 years ago
-Op hops on niz and minox
-OP's crown regrows a bit
-Out of nowhere hair starts shedding and minox/niz aren't working. OP tries supplements, vitamins, diets, etc for hairloss to no avail
-OP either can risk fin and keep trying to save hair, or just shave it. Tough decision
-OP shaves head. Not as bad as OP thought, and in the end was the best decision of OP's life
Miscer's Beliefs and False Ideas on Balding
-Miscers will tell you that balding is a death sentence. Even real life negative social ideas are pushed on tv, commericals/ads, internet, memes, movies, etc. Usually you will see balding adds of a chubby sad balding dude holding onto his last 13 hairs combed over. They make them look miserable, then push their product of either hiding it, or things like hair transplants that makes them look as confident as ever, and they look 10 years younger and on top of the world.
-You'll be pushed to believe that balding will ruin your life. You won't get chicks, you'll lose social status, people will look at you like you are a beta, etc. This just isn't true.....well only if you believe it.
Look at the save your hair thread that is like 100 pages on this forum. Every guy talks about how if they shave their head their life will end and they'll end up in their moms basement crying and fapping their life away. You'll hear "omg but my headshape," "I don't have the jaw for it" "My forehead is so big" "wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."
Don't listen to those *******s.
My Tips, Outlook, and Approach
So I always laugh at all the baldcel stuff, it can be funny, but honestly I am sick of seeing guys falling for it and thinking the worst. It just isn't true. This even applies to the guys with odd head shapes, aren't facially attractive, etc. So here are some tips and ideas for you to think about if you are balding.
-It's Just Hair: Think about it. It's just hair on your head, yet people act like it is life or death. Do you know how many bald dudes pull fine bishes? There are women out there that love bald men. You think balding is that bad? People are born with deformities, have diseases, lose limbs, etc and have better outlooks on life than balding men. What are you crying about? You can't have everything. You're short....oh well you can't do anything about it. You're balding bad, it's just not in your cards, move on.
How To Look Good Bald:
- You need to be clean cut. This is numero uno. Bald is better looking than balding. Don't try to hang onto your hair once you get to a certain point. It just looks terrible. You can either do something like a #1 clippers or a no guard. OR you can go full shave and full clean cut.
-Stay fit. Don't get fat and unhealthy or extrememly skinny and unhealthy. It will look off. This doesn't mean you have to be ripped, just make sure you look like a man. If you're overweight, you better have some muscle. But being fit and leaner will help show off the best of your facial aesthetics.
-Skin/teeth care. Keep your teeth white and take care of your skin. A tan will help too. Put all that balding hair focus into you skin and make sure you keep it looking fresh and young looking. Will make you look more clean cut.
-Facial hair. See what works for you. Some can grow a thick badass beard, some can pull off an alpha looking goatee, and some can slay with a clean cut stubble or straight clean shaven. What you can't do with you hairstyles anymore, do it with your facial hair.
Overall Outlook: Confidence
Just be confident. Shave your head and move on with your life. The world is crushing in front of you if you go bald. Why do I say it was the best decision of my life? Because I use to be really self conscious about my balding. People in my family would point it out, socially balding was seen as a negative thing, the misc makes you feel like going bald is a death sentence. All balding men in the media are portrayed as sad sap beta *******s. Stop crying and fisting yourself and move on. Confidence is key. Women love a confident guy. If you are bald and a sad *******, you will get no where. You will be just like the guys portrayed on tv. You'll dry up pussy for miles. Look at your ******** friends and realize how ugly a lot of the guys are. There are tons of balding, fat, ugly, bald dudes that have gf's, are married, are living their lives. Why can't you.
Is it really worth taking things that fuk with your hormones? Even if you don't see sides right away, you are still messing with your hormones, which can effect you in the long run. And for what? Hair? Do you really want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on hair implants, wigs, or tattooing your head? Do you really want to have to spend a majority of your life taking things everyday just to keep a little bit of hair? Why? You are sacrificing so much for something so little. So ludicrous.
I have never been more confident in my life than now. I don't have to worry about taking minox twice a day and taking it with me on trips, and using niz and watching my diet. No more feeling sad looking at my hand with 15 hairs on it just putting my hand through my hair. No more worrying about wind fukking up my hair or spending 15 min. styling my hair to cover up thinning areas and bald spots. I feel free. I just shave my head in 2min every couple days. Easy as pie.
Final Thoughts:
It's up to you in the end, but just take into consideration this point of view. being confident, clean cut, and staying fit will do wonders for you. Your life isn't over. It is just beginning. Stop being a sad sap beta and buck up. These are the cards you're dealt. Focus on the things that you can really control in your life, and the biggest thing is your mindset. If you want to spend the money, risk your health, or deal with everything that comes with trying to keep hair, then go ahead! It's your life! Some guys pull it off and are happy. But take into consideration everything I have said first. Really take a step back and think about what this big huff puff is over.

Gonna keep bumping this for balding brahs.
Cliffs:
-Shaved and clean cut is better than balding
-It is just hair
-Be confident and take care of other parts of life
-Life moves on
-Money, health risks, and time worth it just for hair?

I'm not balding but for real though
Not everyone can pull the bald look, no matter how hard we deny it... Especially for framecel pencil neck brah
You lucky you have that head shape and nice square jaw
But then again, it was better to embrace it rather than depressed over it...

Glad the #1 bald brah on the misc put this up. People need realize being bald isn't that bad and is actually pretty cool. I used to have long hair so if I can accept that I'm balding and shave my head then anyone can.

Going in tomorrow to my hhhnnnnggggg chick barber to cut it with a 0 guard and 1/2 on top. I just keep it as short as possible now. Closest I can get right now to completely shaving it, although one of those clippers would pay for itself with 2 haircuts.

Shaved my head a while back, tbh looked a bit more gritty and masculine, srs. Made my shoulders look wider and, and traps look bigger by making my head look smaller. I had some stubble at the time, i think this threw off the look in my case. overall didnt mind it tbh, i wasn't entirely comfortable because it was different than the norm, so i grew back my hair, but tbh it wasn't that bad at all, and if i ever start balding ill just shave my head from that point on. agreed with all points in the op tho.

I started losing my hair 5 years ago. In that time I did everything I possibly could to keep the hair I had/mask the balding. I got on propecia, I had a hair transplant, I wore hats all the time, I was using that toppik powder ****. You name it, I done did it. 3 weeks ago I went on a trip to Mexico. I decided that I would buzz my head the day before I left. I was nervous as fuk. I manage a restaurant so I'm around people all fukn day. I work with all women as well. So I buzzed my head. Came back to work after Mexico and not a single soul has said anyhting to me about my hair. The only comment I've gotten is "your hair is so short".
In the end, its all in your head. No one gives a fuk about your hair. I was so worried about people staring and all that but no one gives a fuk. I look good with a buzzed head. Need to add some more muscle and I'll look better with a buzzed head than I have with hair in the last few years.

Haha when I got mine shaved and lined up for the first time, the lady at supercuts was trying to see if I tried all these different product, then said I was a brave soul for doing it. Made me scared at first. Her hand was shaking and you can see the unevenness in my hair from her shaking. And pretty much everyone ended up saying it looked good or they liked it

I agree with OP so much here. This is the truth. We all need to stop worrying about such miniscule bull**** and realize there are way more important issues in our lives that are within our control. I had a major realization the other day and the truth is we as men need to focus on our energy, our masculine energy and aura that we project out into the world. Women are the one's that will worry about their looks. It's not something for us to worry about. Anything we can do aesthetically is just a bonus but you need to realize that if you had your inner issues 100% dealt with and you were living your truth and felt free, then you literally could get away with looking your worst and still be slaying in all areas of life. It's just so few like 0.0001% of men ever reach that point to realize it, but there are plenty of examples out there that will confirm this truth if you just open your eyes. To sum it up, work on the stuff that is the foundation of who you are as a man first, dial that in completely and then when you're coming from the right place, doing it for yourself and because you simply want to be better, then you can put some energy into other surface level things. But it should only be done as a supplement, for yourself only. That's all I have to say. Thanks OP
